About us
Nicky Fomes is Navigate Infrastructure Consulting’s Managing Director. She has 18 years’ experience of
working in regulated industries, principally the water, transport, and energy sectors.
Nicky started her career working for an economic regulator (Ofwat), has headed a regulation team in a
water company (Mid Kent Water) and in the utilities strategy team at PwC. She founded Navigate
Infrastructure Consulting in 2018. Nicky has a PhD in Earth Sciences.
Her clients include utilities companies, and other professional services firms as a subcontractor. In
previous roles, Nicky has worked for utilities, oil majors, mining companies, Government departments,
economic regulators, environmental and standards regulators, consumer bodies, investors (and
prospective investors), bondholders specialising in infrastructure, Government owned companies,
utilities, PPP contractors, and the infrastructure supply chain.
Navigate Infrastructure Consulting is part of a network of independent consultants who team together
to solve complex problems using multiple skillsets.
